February 2012
What. A. Day.
Well, I made good on my promise of getting out into the sunshine to run; I went on my lunch break. I’ve always been curious about dedicating a lunch hour, on the clock, to a workout, but have never actually done it. Today, I did.
Armed with my gym bag and super stealth changing capabilities, I tore off my 9-5 duds and threw on my running gear in the first floor bathroom (god forbid a...
What a BEEEEAUTIFUL Day!
This taste of Spring has snapped me right back into reality! A reality that isn’t full of dark, dreary days and chilling cold. Can’t wait to get outside and run in this incredible weather.
Why do I perpetually feel like a mix between Anne Hathaway’s character in “The Devil Wears Prada” and the malformed boy living in the attic of the “American Horror Story” house? Half of me feels like I’m so busy and have so many demands, I’m running around with my head cut off, under-appreciated and overworked. The other half of me feels like someone who...
Leslie: is that too gay?
me: god no.
me: and they are gay.
Looking forward to getting back on my feet today (literally) for a nice run. My goal is 2 miles tonight and 8 for the week. Hopefully the weather will stay relatively tolerable for an outside run for the next three days. And with temps appearing to remain in the upper 40s to 50s, I think I’ll be aight. Steady as she goes.
It’s time to make moves. What better day than Monday, the fresh start of a new week, to begin. As they say, today is the first day of the rest of your life.
P.S.
I haven’t run this week at all. So, see you at the hospital finish line on October 7th.
Murphy's Law...
…almost. It figures that the day before we are scheduled to leave for Boston for CL’s birthday weekend, our first winter storm rolls into town. Now, normally I would take something like this in stride (riiiiight), but I will essentially be devastated if this trip doesn’t happen.
First of all, it’s not just some weekend where our trip fell through; it’s CL’s...
What happens if you fall in love with a writer? →
karenfelloutofbedagain:
Lots of things might happen. That’s the thing about writers. They’re unpredictable. They might bring you eggs in bed for breakfast, or they might all but ignore you for days. They might bring you eggs in bed at three in the morning. Or they might wake you up for sex at three in the morning. Or make love at four in the afternoon. They might not sleep at all. Or they...
